Nirvana Solar: Background

Nirvana Solar is one of the pioneering organisations in the domain of renewable energy, such as solar energy, in India. Nirvana Solar is engaged in the promotion of solar energy for residential, commercial, agricultural, and industrial applications in India and overseas. We plan, design, and execute rooftop solar energy systems that are grid-tied, off-grid, and hybrid systems. We provide consultancy and training programs in renewable energy systems. We are also pioneering in the field of hydrogen fuel cells as we foresee its future.

Solar Energy Experience Program (SEEP)

Nirvana Solar invites you to participate in the Solar Energy Experience Program (SEEP), organised for people interested in adopting solar energy for their home and learning about many sustainable living practices like zero waste, rainwater harvesting, and biogas that is produced using organic waste and kitchen waste.

Context:

India is facing increasingly grave consequences of climate change, with approximately 5.4 million people internally displaced due to floods, droughts, or erratic weather. Ranked sixth globally in terms of climate vulnerability, India must navigate the challenge of balancing development with sustainability.

In response, India introduced the Panchamrit strategy at COP26, which outlines key climate goals for 2020 and 2070. These include installing 500 GW of non-fossil energy capacity by 2030, sourcing 50% of energy from renewables. Reducing carbon emissions by 1 billion tonnes, cutting carbon intensity by 45%, and reaching net zero emissions by 2070.

Pradhan Mantri Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana

PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana is a scheme launched by the Government of India in its 2024-25 budget for a rooftop solar plant project with an investment of over 75,000 crore rupees to provide solar power for about 1 crore households and to provide them 300 units of free electricity every month.

We are Nirvana Solar are committed to making this mission successful by promoting people to adopt rooftop solar energy systems for their houses. As part of this mission, we are organizing the Solar Energy Experience Program (SEEP) at the community level to bring awareness and help in adopting rooftop solar systems. We understand that people want ot understand and experience solar systems, ask questions before making a decision. We want to handhold and walk through every step along the way to help people adopt a solar energy system for their homes and businesses. We will help in processing and getting a subsidy for adopting a solar system for your house from the government of India as part of this mission. We will present collateral-free loans from both nationalized and private banks.

The SEEP is organized in one of our experience centers in Bangalore for you to see, feel, and gain an immersive experience in rooftop solar energy systems.
